The author of this site welcomes you. He has divided this site into three sections.
- PERKENIK BOOK. In this first section we publish a 185-page Armenian manuscript about this historic village and its people, accompanied by an English translation and Added appendices. Publishing the Armenian manuscript was the original and primary purpose if this site. Click on Perkenik Book.
- FAMILIES. This second section is intended for the currently widely-scattered progeny of the villagers. The Blogging features of WordPress will provide these descendants, their families, and friends a dynamic center for intercommunicating, and its Content- Managing features a place for presenting family trees, photographs, obits, and the like. Click on Perkenik Families.
- RELATED TOPICS. This third section will deal with Related Topics.
This is the author’s first attempt at managing a Web Site and in using the WordPress platform, so his efforts will likely be subject to change and improvements. To this end, at appropriate places provision will be made for reader commentaries and suggestions. In other words, at this beginning stage (Mid 2010) much of the site is fluid and preliminary in nature. It goes without saying, progress will be slow at first and errors made. My apologies.
